There is always a reason to gather!
At St. Stephen's we share fellowship in many ways, only beginning with coffee and conversation after the 10:30 church service on Sundays. |
The People of St. Stephen's can always think of a reason for a party, reception, or feast, and so many of our parishioners are handy in the kitchen that the food is always outstanding. In fact, we have our own cookbook! Preparing and serving the food is as much fun as eating it.
One of our larger annual events is the St. Stephen's Pig Roast, served by The Order of The Pig. If you have registered on this site, you can see pictures of last year's event in the Members' Section. You can also see pictures of the School's 50th Anniversary Festal Mass and Picnic in our members' section. Another regular annual event is the St. Stephen's Art & Craft Show which takes place every Presidents' Day Weekend.

Our various church groups make good use of our Parish Center to put on meals or just bring out snacks to share.
Once a month we share a community brunch in the shade of the oak trees in back of the church. Cooked and served by parishioners on the first Sunday of the month, the brunch is shared with our neighbors in the grove, some of whom are homeless. |
Even work is an occasion for fellowship. We have occasional "work parties" which offer parishioners a chance to meet other parishioners while getting their hands dirty. Of course this is accompanied by a meal with beverages.
These are just a few examples of fellowship at St. Stephen's. Check the calendar often for coming events.
